Kevin Moriarty knows what it’s like to be a litigator. He understands the self-imposed stress and the challenges of a difficult case, client or opposing attorney. His experience as a judge has been that nearly all attorneys do a wonderful job representing their clients’ interest; but all too often, clients don’t appreciate the hard work their attorney has done on their behalf. Understandably, some clients have only one perspective of their case but when their attorney offers another perspective, the relationship can become strained. Kevin understands the importance of the attorney/client relationship and realizes how difficult it is to get a fair resolution while simultaneously educating the client about the complexity and pitfalls of litigation.
Now, as former Chief Judge of the 10th Judicial District with over 40 years of courtroom experience, Kevin is shifting to full-time mediations. He’s focusing his extensive experience on resolving disputes before they enter the courtroom.
